Bill Day helps health

Our guest speaker said he always wanted to put something back to help peoples’ health in the Wellington region.

Bill DayBill Day has done this in no small manner – he is the Chair of Life Flight Trust, Board member of Medical Research Institute of New Zealand and Wellington Free Ambulance, and Chair of Wellington Hospitals and Health Foundation, and he spoke about the accomplishments and challenges of these various organizations.

He also put a plug in for the very fine work done by ROMAC – Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children – and gave examples of the huge difference they were making to children’s lives in the Islands - any donations would be welcome. Bill provides all his many skills to Charity – he is a philanthropist with his time.

Just contact your nearest Salvation Army and let them know that you'd like to help this year.  Or you can phone 0800 53 00 00 | email
