The Rotary Youth Leadership Award is a five-day programme for potential leaders, between the ages of 18 and 24. It is a Programme run by Rotary throughout the world. All participants are sponsored in full, either by a Rotary Club or by an organisation.

If you want to apply, you will be someone who has demonstrated potential as a leader in your community, your studies, your workplace, sports team or the arts.

The objective of the programme is to develop those personal and leadership skills.

Tawa Rotary is inviting applications to be submitted in October, with a view to interviewing prospective candidates to sponsor on the RYLA programme.  While our submission date is later than that noted on the application form, we must recommend our selection to RYLA by end October latest.

The RYLA programme recognises, encourages and educates future leaders by offering them this intensive leadership training experience. The programme demonstrates Rotary's commitment to developing future leaders, by encouraging them to be the best they can be.

Each year an elite group of future leaders is selected to attend RYLA. Graduates of previous RYLA programmes report that RYLA was fantastic opportunity to develop their skills, have fun, and meet an enthusiastic group of like minded people. RYLA is a life changing experience, so take the challenge and apply today.
