Presidents Piece - 15 December
From President Richard

This week I am not going to write something deep and meaningful, but I will wish you all a Very Merry Christmas (safe and enjoyable), and a great New year.

Thank You to all of you who have 'Done Rotary' this year, sorted and sold book, attended working bees, Packed the Trailer and gone to the movies.

Also thanks to those who helped with the Party in the Plaza, 5 bags of corn were popped and over 200 sausages BBQ'd in 2 hours, talk about frantic, but that is what rotary does.

We look forward seeing at our Christmas Party on Tuesday.

We will start again on January 26th with a visit to the Wright’s Hill tunnels as we join Karori Rotary

Let's all do Rotary together.

Last Weeks Meeting 8 December 2020

This was a working bee at Kiwi Community Assistance.  A number of us got together and we did series of tasks to help KCA, we swept floors, painted safety markings, went down to their storage facility to get cots and sorted donations. It seemed that all had a good time and I know KCA appreciated our efforts.
Talking to Tracy later I hear that their will always be jobs that Rotary can do, Wellington North are firm supporters and were going to be making up gift packages on Wednesday.

Sorry no photos this week, too busy.
