Presidents Piece - 14 February
From President Richard
On Saturday I read an amazing piece in the Dominion Post about Kriddles Roberts and Rotary. I have to say I found it somewhat emotional and equally quite inspiring, this is where I see Rotary should be or what it can be. I am not going to retell the story as I think you should all read it for yourselves.
I have included a couple of links
Rotary is about networks, it was originally set up by Paul Harris to allow business men to get together and help each other, it is about service, giving our time and our talents to help others. These two stories cover diversity, cover inclusiveness and cover partnerships. Please take some time and read them.
Let's do Rotary together.

Thank you Rotary members who took 2 hours out of your busy Saturdays prior to Christmas to assist me by mowing my lawns and
weeding the garden.
I was bedridden right up to Christmas with the removal of a large melanoma from my leg.
I was very humbled and appreciative of your assistance.
