Dangers of Drowsy Driving

On Tuesday 7 July 2015, Martin Jenkins, Founder of New Zealand Sleep Safely Limited, spoke on the dangers of drowsy driving.
AKILLA® was founded by Martin S. Jenkins an engineer and businessman, as a direct result of an insidious and violent road crash just south of Shannon (lower North Island of New Zealand( on Saturday 13th December 2003, 1.50pm which claimed the life of his father.
The mission of AKILLA is: 'To lower the road toll and number of crashes caused by drowsy driving by educating all New Zealanders of the causes and dangers of drowsy driving'. Further information on the Road Safety Educational Campaign is available at: http://www.akilla.co.nz/aboutus.php

Preparing to be District Governor
14 July 2015 - we hear from District Governor elect, Martin Garcia on "Preparing to be District Governor".
Our meeting will be held at our usual venue, Tawa Bowling Club and special tribute is extended to our caterers from the Red House Café, Te Horo, that was destroyed in a tragic fire last week.
